Dojen (cycloidal reducers) founded in Woburn Massachusetts, laying the foundation for precision mechanical engineering excellence.

 
1987

Dojen acquired by Lenze USA, bringing European engineering expertise and expanding market reach.

 
1990

Mectrol Corporation acquires Dojen as the foundation of mechanical drives business, establishing new growth trajectory.

 
1996

Mectrol Corporation opens manufacturing facility in Puebla, Mexico, expanding global manufacturing capabilities and market access.

 
1998

Planetary reducers are added to standard products, diversifying our precision mechanical solutions portfolio.

 
2005

Strategic focus shift: Timing belt product line sold to Gates Corporation, and all metal-based precision components business renamed Onvio LLC.

 
2006

Innovation milestone: Onvio begins manufacturing wheel motors for mobile robots, entering the growing robotics market.

New headquarters: Onvio LLC relocates to modern facility in Salem NH, establishing our current operational center.
